Can you put a 190 on a 1299 instead of the 200. Does it affect tc or anything or insurance thanks all

I have read complaints that an underwriter has refused to settle where the manufacturer recommended tyre sizes were not used. It is a question for your broker to answer, on behalf of the underwriter. A years ago, I got a new back tyre for one of my bikes. I was going back to the standard size from a wider one that a previous owner had put on. The dealer fitting the tyre (might have been Protyre) made me sign a disclaimer absolving them from any liability for fitting the "wrong" size tyre - although it was the correct size tyre, but they didn't know that.
