Unfortunately not my garage or electricity for that matter,i'll stick with the spray treatment plus four clean dustsheets.
Fuchsia photo first thing this morning - sat in front of screens all day - bit of arty clutch cover photography this evening
Oil and filter change on the Scrambler Icon and a trip to MR for a litre of Motul 7100, coz I didn’t have enough. Could have sworn one of the 2 unopened bottles in the garage was 7100, turned out both are 300V, doh ! Still all done and it fired up on the button, sweet as a nut Andy
Removed ugly headlamp complete as only safe way to change blown sidelamp (@Dean Roberts did too!). So far resisting temptation to chizel black paint off headlamp frame where corroded. Ordered 4 non-std exhaust mesh seals for above as cheaper (and more substantial) than Ducati items.
I’ve somehow managed to lose half a tin of tomato soup. I took an already opened can out of the fridge about an hour ago intending to heat it up in the microwave but I got distracted by something and have been looking for it ever since. I have exactly the same problem with tools and parts when messing with my bikes and I’d say that easily 50% of the time each job takes to complete is due to looking for an Allen key or spanner that I know for a fact was in my hand only 2 seconds ago but somehow has apparently managed to disappear through a wormhole in space. Do professional mechanics suffer the same issues? Weird. And very annoying.
I found it eventually. It was on top of the recycle bin out in the yard yet I can’t for the life of me recall opening the door
50.5 or thereabouts, but I've been like this since childhood tbh As I barely drink, I can't even blame that unfortunately.
