There is too much moaning in this group...... ... and I do most of it! Off to Cheltenham Hospital in a minute but I've already been there twice and I was hoping for a new hospital to add to my collection! And what I really want to be doing is finishing off my valve clearance check on my ST2. Oh well, at least I've added to the moaning count and I won't even start on West Ham's lousy draw last night!
I am still here! All positive: I had my first night's sleep without getting up at all! Hospital scanned my veins going right up to my crotch - unless the doc was a bit of a perv - the female nurse wasn't interested :-( and she just bandaged up my shin. Being referred back to Stroud Hospital next month to se how I get on. Supposed to keep my legs up above my heart for 2 hours a day but I can still exercise with my walking and cycling - just put up feet for the required time. Apparently, I need compression bandages now which they did at the hospital and I will still need to go to my local surgery twice a week for bandages changed. But that's better than any surgery or sticking things in me to blow up my veins! It's difficult to pin this one on my accident as I was weird before. I was proud of my muscular calves before but apparently it wasn't muscle, but just CO2 enriched bad blood, failing to get back to my heart! Oh well. But, obeying instructions has just showed me that my ROKU box connected to my TV can receive Apple TV and Apple have all of the various "Long Way.." series So, as long as I do the feet up rest, I can continue to fix my bikes, exercise but just not spend much time sitting at my desk. As I have no confidence in getting up in the dark at 6am to put my bins out, I did it when I got home at about 5pm. Mr Loser here, was the first to put out my bins and so I confirmed what my neighbours already think of me - a big calfed loser...
The bin-shaming game will have to take a break over Christmas/New Year. Everybody has their bins out, it is pouring with rain and nobody knows when the lorry will turn up. The waste food collection game continues - I assume. I think that they did still come at about 7am almost all food waste bins have been gathered up and taken in! Dunno where mine is but I think my neighbour may have taken pity and bought mine in for me. They seem to be on a mission as they were back from a big supermarket shop as I got up at about twenty to nine.
