  2. No

    1. No BSAU mark or makers name on plate

    2. Letters are undersize

    3. Six character plates should be spread over two lines on the rear of a motorbike

  3. I think you’ll be fine. If you like it, use it.

I think it’s a £30 spot fine. No points. Or it used to be. All these rich twats with fezza’s and lambo’s don’t mount a front plate because ‘it ruins the lines’ They just keep chucking £30 at the job. Sorted.

  4. With a personalised plate, if you get stopped a second time for having illegal spacing or size. The DVLA can take the plate off you.

    From the DVLA
The organisation also highlighted that drivers who alter the appearance of their plates face a fine of up to £1,000 and risk having their personalised registrations confiscated.

  5. They also were able to insist its re registered on a Q plate. No idea if that is still the case.

  6. Tis a fair point. The police focus on petty laws and do sweet FA about the more serious things people actually care about.

but they do love an easy nick

  10. Needs name and post code of issuing garage. Had to change my car plates after an MOT failed the reflective ones fitted by previous owner. As folk say though it is very complex and even the average plod hasn't a clue. Last time it was mentioned to me by plod was after being stopped early one morning after doing 70 down a 40 dual carriageway, The cop was in triumph 2.5 PI to give an idea of time. 'get a bigger plate sonny, - but.. get a bigger plate, - on your way.'
