  3. 27 shots against Burnley, totally dominated them but couldn’t score:weary_face: I feel a draw again at best for Villa. The Baggies will defend with all they have and try to catch us on the break. I think Big Sam can keep them up, I fear Sheffield United have gone (which is a shame)

  4. Sometimes no matter how well you play sometimes a little luck wouldn’t come amiss.

I’d like to think B’Sam can but he hasn’t a lot to work with. I know he has a reputation for saving clubs from relegation but fear WBA are a team too far. At least he has time on his side as such hopefully it’s not too late to start racking points on.

Maybe WBA acted now in case Arsenal got Big Sam first they’re a surprise for me being so low in the league.

  5. Just over an hour to go, honestly the tension at matches between us (Albion) and Wolves was probably the best i have ever encountered, it was pretty hairy before and after the match too, those Yam Yams like a good scrap.

  6. I can’t cry over Arsenal. Let’s face it all the Arsenal fans kept moaning about finishing 4th all the time and only picking up the FA cup. There you go Gunners, now you know what it’s like to support a club from the Midlands.

  7. I’m not fussed with Arsenal to be honest just find in surprising that they are where they are. I just like to follow the PL casually just for a bit of fun.

I did a little work back when WBA got promoted to the PL in a factory in Rowley Regis a 50/50 split between Wolves and WBA. Wolves gave the baggies fans hell whilst they were top of the championship only to go very silent once Wolves run of form faded.

  10. Well, the Mighty Villa were of course magnificent (ALT Handsworth FC were just truly awful). UTV.

  11. Thought their Alt was Smethwick AFC and yes well done Villa

  12. I thought The Villa were excellent today, as is the norm now, and then I watched my team play later on, who were also unusually excellent today beating Chelsea, which probably means it was all a dream and it’s back to reality tomorrow.

  13. I have to admit it (grudgingly) Villa were very good today.
We playing Liverpool later, I think Sam will play a 4-3 at the back

  14. Alright. No need to rub it in.:rolleyes:

  15. Really hope Sam can keep WBA up but it’s a big ask. Burnley look contenders to be scrapping it out with you not to be relegated, a little closer on goal difference too.

You’ve managed a ‘Great Escape’ before

  16. Might just be newspaper speculation, if true though:

    You’re entitled to your opinion.

Yet those who’s business actually is football clearly rate him as a player, he and Villa are actually playing in arguably the most competitive football league.
