The world constantly changes. We should never assume our generation will always pull all the strings, it doesn't work like that.
Think I would rather buy one of these and spend the other £12 grand on ferries and holidays Was being a bit flippant here but you get my drift
The 950 still has a 19” front wheel, a 170 profile rear tyre and has a double sided swing arm. Which to most commenting in this thread, is the problem. Andy
Who,s they? As far as I can tell, the end result of the survey and general opinion / sentiment of most of the discussions seems to be that the v4 does not offer a direct replacement for the 1260, it may find a home with some that either don’t want or need the road biased sportiness of the 1260 or 1200. Bragging rights for the v4 could be....... I’ve just bought the ugliest, most expensive, pretend off-road, delicate, thirsty copy of what the Germans do best. Or ...... it’s actually better than it looks,!!
I still bet the V4 will show the V2 a clean pair of heels. I loved every moment of my 2 Multis but always open to something new.
Are you suggesting it has a better rear fender? It's certainly not a faster bike. Although a fast rider on the V4 would certainly be faster than a slow rider on a V2
[QUOTE=" It's certainly not a faster bike. Although a fast rider on the V4 would certainly be faster than a slow rider on a V2[/QUOTE] And indeed a fast rider on a V2 would be faster than a slow rider on a V4 and they'd be on a nicer looking bike while doing so
Nobody does, but straight forward physics would suggest that as the V2 is lighter, has more torque and a larger contact patch under hard acceleration, with equal riders the V4 is more likely to struggle to keep up than “show a clean pair of heels” . And at least both sides of its engine are the same color!
Yeah, I was expecting to be well over 100 now! When I joined a few months ago it was like the Mary Celeste on here, with a new post every few hours. Now look at it!
