Supersport rear caliper.

  1. Hi, I need to replace the rear brake caliper on the old 1995 900SS. Will the caliper from any other Ducati fit? I'm thinking straight swap from Monster or Fuel injected Supersport? Cheers. Alex

    l have usedST on my 888,the same caliper/hanger as supersport

  3. The caliper on an SS/Monster is the same as on a 916, which is strange because the one on my Monster works quite well but on the 916 it's next to useless...

  4. Alex, you should have said you needed one when we dealing over the shock absorber..........I have only recently sold a reasonable rear caliper to a mate building a special.......OK, it might have needed seals etc, but you can get them fairly easily.

  5. AAAAGH!! Sorry about that. This is a new problem. Funnily enough I was thinking about how to proceed and I remembered you mentioning that you had a stash of parts !!

  6. As far as I am aware, any KTM dealer should keep the caliper seals..............Jim Aim Motorcycles in Sible Hedingham do and they will post them out etc.
