2020 has certainly been more negative than positive but it’s been a huge self learning process for me. As peeps know, I separated from the woman but realised very quickly that I’m a stubborn bastard. Got a lovely place by the sea, 10 minutes from my daughter, 170 mile commute though but worth it (I don’t do that daily, thank god). My company had a record month in September this year after lockdown. Got the V4S Termi 4Uscite system and some other goodies. Got a new Suzuki GSXR 1000R, which has done 100 miles in 4 months.... Most important to me, my 4 year old has been absolutely fine since the separation and loves having 2 bedrooms, with 2 lots of toys. Plus another year of no seizures....2 in a row and fingers crossed that never happens again.... So all in all, it could be a lot worse....
Still got a job. Great weather and empty roads for commuting on 2 wheels in the first lockdown. Had less time off work than at any time in the last 35 years, so looking forward to taking 6 or 7 weeks holiday in the next 9 months. The MD said we are now back in profit after some lean years = pay rise + a bonus. Everyone close to me is safe and well.
For me..... First lockdown, great weather out on MTB 's in a deserted world but didn't ride ducatis. But... Going to Oliver's mount in September was mega, after a year of disappointment (Italy, TT, classic TT all got canned), going to scarby felt great. On a plus, I had loads of holidays left come June and had some great days out on both my hyper and my monster... When we were set free.
