It’s about time I finished Carla off as she’s been running around in Halfords rattle can matt black for 2 years now Here she is. And here’s the colour I want her to be. Thanks
You could try Gary at spray point, Spray Point: HOMEspray-point.co.uk Did my Kh250 i rebuilt a few year ago and done a few mates bikes.
What a fantastic looking bike / paintworks,my uncle had one of these back in the day.i've no idea on values these days but they must be going northwards.
They’re just covers from this guy in Italy who designs wacky Transformer-esque body kits for Buells and Monsters. I had them made up in carbon as opposed to fibreglass as a special order because I wanted them to match the CF tank and bodywork I also have (not pictured as the tank sprung a leak). He’s a nice fella to deal with too. https://www.texmotorbike.com/start.html Shortly after that photo was taken the brackets attaching the one to the right fork leg failed and it flew off and hit me in the face while “making progress” on a national speed limit road. Luckily I had my visor down and there was nobody behind me as I’d gapped my son following me on his 125 and it somehow survived with barely a scratch. It was an eventful afternoon all round because about an hour beforehand my son went straight on at a bend and crashed into a field
@XH558 As we all know just about any 2 stroke bike has had a good increase in value over the last 7 years or so, the kh250 have been around the 4k mark for a good bike but if i built another one i would do a 400 over a 250 as it cost the same to build but resale is more and that would also apply for a 350lc over a 250lc, Its a shame i mention resale value as it makes me/people sound that its all about the money but building a bike to this standard cost 5k but it is fun and very enjoyable
Thanks for that. I’ll check him out. The bike is gorgeous. I’ve just bought a 1978 DT175 so I have a bit of a soft spot for that twin shock classically handsome UJM look
My dad’s got a blue one in his shed been stood for 30 years, in desperate to steal it off him I mean restore on his behalf
There's a guy on eBay who would describe that as “ready to ride away and enjoy” https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254777361844
