The former Manchester United and Scotland manager Tommy Docherty has died at the age of 92 after a long illness, his family have announced.
Whilst sorting some crap out this morning SWMBO has just come across this autograph I got on the back of a business card some 25-30 years ago at a sportsman dinner where Tommy Docherty was the guest speaker.
Always sad when someone passes, but after a long life in which he achieved so much, release from a long illness may be a kindness. RIP.
