Hi there, I am thinking of upgrading my rear indicators to the dp rear led indicators from Ducati store online for my 899. Currently got an evotech tail tidy on it with the standard indicators on, I was just wondering how easy they are to fit? Thanks Tim.
Tim, I upgraded my standard 899 indicators to the 1199/1299 led ones and they went straight into my Evotech tail tidy, I’m not quite sure what you mean by the DP rear ones? But the 11 / 1299 ones went straight in.
Looking at the fitment list for bikes, if it has the same squashy rubber end on it, they should fit okay I would think?
I’ve just fitted the Ducati performance indicators to my Panigale R and they go straight into the evotech tail tidy. The tail tidy is even cut out the same way as the original Ducati one so they make a perfect fit. I’ll try and take a picture in a bit.
Here’s a picture of them fitted to the evotech tail tidy. They do look really good and are a lot smaller than the standard one to tidy up that rear end. !!!
Thanks for that, yeah they look a lot better than the standard ones, think I might have order them. hopefully they should be easy to fit I think I read somewhere that they are pretty much plug and play but will see.
Really easy to fit, you could even give the rubber a little warm up with the wife’s hairdryer just to make them a little softer before trying to squeeze them into the holes. Also be really careful and try not to use anything sharp or hard while trying to squeeze them in the mounts. The reason is because the evotech tail tidy is anodised and marks and scratches really really easily.

If you do decide to buy the Ducati performance ones be aware there are 2 different part numbers for the same items. One version just flashes like a normal indicator and the 2nd newest version flashes like the Audi road cars in a sequence. The one that flashes like the Audi road car the part number if I remember correctly ends in a double AA where the earlier version ends in a single A.
