  4. I wondered if someone would notice! It does work but only at half speed (2500 indicated=5000rpm). The 60mm electronic rev counters are easy to get quite cheaply for twins but not singles. I may revert to the original Smiths if I can repair it!

  5. Pete 1950: Did you cut the fairing or is that an aftermarket one? Great bike.

  10. That looks rather lovely. :upyeah:

I am in the market for an early bevel twin, preferably a 1973/75 750Sport, but I could suffer one of those if it was in as good condition.

Good luck with the sale, ‘If only it were closer’ actually applies in this case!

  16. She runs sweet as a nut, but needs some TLC, so on to the bike lift for engine out and a front to back fluids, lines, pads, bearings & filters service.

Hopefully be ready for TT '23......:D

  18. Wheels back from painting, new rubber, bearings and had the disc hubs re-painted.
Forks are back from service and had them repainted as well as the callipers.
New black Hel, brake lines, service kit and sending off fixtures for re-galvanising.
Just got to clean the frame up then re-assemble rolling chassis for re-uniting with the soda blasted engine and vapoured carbs.
Many thanks to https://www.mdinaitalia.co.uk/ PGP in Eastleigh and https://www.dimarino.co.uk/
