    Ronnie James (Dio)

  14. Yes .... de acuerdo , as the Spanish say
    ..... just not Daltrey though

He could be great inside his comfort zone
but that zone was very limited and he sang really flat when he had to reach

I'd sub Ronnie James Dio in his place ..... sort of a " wild card " nomination

    :)

  15. Dio is no wild card. For me, he is probably one of the finest voices of any generation in this music genre. I know AC/DC only do what AC/DC do but Brian Johnson epitomises a voice of that niche. Andy

Definite no Justin Hawkins of the Darkness. Sounds like fingernails across a blackboard.

Met Daltrey at his trout fishery, down to earth nice bloke.

  20. +1 for Freddie Mercury

I doubt he could be counted amongst the greatest but I think this guy (David Draiman of Disturbed) has a really good voice and delivery. I also love this track which is kind of “our song” (one of them) for the girlf and I.
