Does anyone know how I can get the stem out of the bottom triple clamp on an XDiavel? I can’t tell if it’s screwed in or pressed in.
Thanks for that.. It’s a second hand bottom yoke that I want powder coating. On trying to get the bottom race off I caught the stem with a cutting disc and put a couple of nicks in. I’m sure it’ll be fine with a new bearing set, but if the stem comes out easy enough, I’d like to put a blob of weld in the nicks, and turn it back down in my lathe... If it won’t come out easy I’ll live with it.
