My favourite player of the day.Came from a small mining village near mine in County Durham.Was a handy local cricketer too. Think he would be called a box to box midfielder these days .Tremendous athlete and great player

Ted Fenwick raced on the Southern 100 circuit for many years and was still racing and winning on his 250 Ducati when he was 87. Always used to have his race number matched to his age. An inspiration to all of us who think we might hang up our boots.
Ted passed away a few days ago a couple of months before his 93rd birthday.
