  1. I think El Tel has started writing headlines for BBC and Sky News....

1 million estimated left.... bit of a way to go to extinct

  2. Politician makes announcement.

People comment on said politician’s track record for failure.

Am I missing something here? The clue is in the name.

  3. No same old same old if it's political put it in speakers corner. Some how I knew you would be the first to comment. I must be psychic!

  5. Hoe come you didn't foresee that Brexit would be such a cock up then? ;)

Buit I take your point. Everything is political these days. There's a lot of anger out there towards this Govt and it gets sublimated into unexpected areas

We can all play silly games :)

But no......it’s reported in lots of places.

  7. I did see it that's why I voted remain and would vote back in given the choice. Now I'm getting drawn in which is what I try to avoid on here.

  8. My apologies. That's twice I've unfairly accused you of being a Leaver. :upyeah:

  9. It wasn’t meant to be a political thread in the true sense, just a slight (and it seems a very slight one now) jibe at a completely incompetent politician who in the past hasn’t had the wherewithal to organise a piss up in a brewery, so therefore hedgehogs wouldn’t stand a chance of survival.

  10. Also, to be fair - Speakers' Corner is meant for debating and tbh Grayling's competence isn't really up for debate

  11. I haven’t seen our resident hedgehog for a couple of years now oh and the council have demolished bungalows and building affordable housing down the road

  12. Perhaps it couldn’t afford one of the bungalows but has managed to get some sort of part rent/part buy deal on one of the new places?

  13. My garden isn’t good enough :(

  14. You specifically use the telegraph as an opposing example to prove the point. Which kind of proves that the Beeb is anything but impartial, left leaning even ;)

I’m surprised that you fell for it

  15. Same old same old Ducati forum, it’s a shame it’s threads always seem to go off piste.

  16. Back on the real Hedgehog track...
I've lived on the outskirts of a small Cornish town for many years, but 2 years ago they started to build on the 2 outer sides of my garden.
1st we were invaded by all of the rabbits and squirrels from the building site closely followed by all of the rats ,after consulting the experts special "Blue Food" was put down for the rats.
We were assured that only the rats would eat this "Food".
Well as expected the rats are gone but so have the hedgehogs?
We still have plenty of rabbits (there's 2 warrens in our garden) and the odd squirrel still comes to visit, but no hedgehogs.
I'll be gutted if we've poisoned them as well as the rats...
However on my long walks around the lanes I've not seen any of them where I'd usually find them.

  19. Ha ha! Funnily enough I’m working just down the road from you at grafton and I’m sure I saw one rolled up yesterday!

  20. Is that you I hear roaring up the road :)
I used to hear mine scuffling along the edge of my garden and he left a track too
We have had rats because of the floods and the new housing estate maybe the rat killer has been out :(
