Rugby Bores - Six Nations Thread - Avoid If Not Keen On Egg-chasing

  1. The only defence I’m going to be able to use to my welsh colleague tomorrow is “at least we were playing against a whole team”

That or, no I was watching the cricket

  2. I would have put money on Wales winning if that twat of a Welshman hadn’t kicked possession away with 10 seconds on the clock

  3. A moment of madness by Dan B? that could have cost them the match and certainly if Sexton was still playing.

  4. Just read Sexton is out of the Ireland team for the game against France this weekend, thanks to the head injury sustained against Wales. That’s just made it easier for France. Andy

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  5. What's wrong with Billy Burns,:p

  6. Bluntly ? He is not Johnny Sexton, simple as that. IMO mind, JS on the pitch is like having a 16th player. A leader of men England sadly lack :( Andy

  7. Agreed with JS,:upyeah:Yes it's time for a change with the old established players in the England camp, but i can't help wondering if the coach says play like this for eighty minutes and nothing else or your be sacked...look how we pulled apart New Zealand with the same fifteen.

  8. France would win Sexton or not.

    • Agree Agree x 1
  9. I only saw 10 / love to France that day, then i was out of the door, but they do look like they're on fire especially with Shawn Edwards onboard.:upyeah:the question is why didn't we employ him:thinkingface:

  10. Sexton looks tired. Not much running on the field, last weekend...

  11. I’m not so sure. Italy were no real test although France looked ominously smooth. Ireland played Wales for more than 70 minutes with 14 players. Mistakes from both sides, yes but that was an epic performance by any standards. Andy

  12. Well, we’ll see how England fares against Italy tomorrow, won’t we?

It may have looked otherwise, but French players and their staff did not once say their match against Italy last weekend was easy... They just said it would probably be harder against Ireland. Because Ireland play one pass tactics and go straight for impact. Lots of damage to the players (both teams), but not much fun for the fans, IMHO.

  13. My hope is for an engaging and enjoyable match between France and Ireland. My expectation for the England v Italy match is somewhat less. Andy

  14. A very economical number 10 player, just let everybody else runaround and screw themselves silly.

  15. The bigger question is why didn’t Wales hang on to him ?

  16. Good question:upyeah:,ask me tomorrow when i'd a few beers.;)

  17. Wow what a try by Mr Jonny May.

  18. Far from the finished article but much better this week than last, too many ball handling errors for me & hesitation, room for improvement.

  19. What’s the score at the moment in the Scotland game?

  20. Scotland full of confidence from the England match, hopefully Wales will make a better second half, only time will tell.
