Can anyone suggest a good independent in Lincolnshire to change cam belts on my Diavel, don’t fancy being raped by Ducati. Thanks in advance.

Hi Italia Moto in Lincoln have a very good reputation ......been going for many years..... they were a main dealer but dropped the dealership as I believe Ducati put too many constraints on the business and require big investment. I myself prefer talented independents such as Italia Moto, Louigi Moto in the west country etc .... Cheers Ger

That's a valid point . There are some very glitzy "boutique" dealerships these days , that look like high-end fashion retailers , and you have to ask the question .... " Who is paying for all of this ? " The casino industry is another good example ....
Speaking purely for my own taste and experience here .......I find Main Dealers dull to look round .... situation now reminds me of when you'd go to a cycle shop in the 70s 80s ....loads of interesting varied brands of bike frames .... cycle parts etc. .....now its a Specialised shop or sumfink .... same old stuff ...no variety ...bored ...meh! Last time I went in Moto Italia ..... pre covid ...yum yum .....nice mix of interesting old Ducatis ..other Italian bikes ....
Just been reading other posts and people paying £1000s + I believe that’s having your pants down, not written to offend, my opinion.
You should find a specialist that feels good, pay a visit to see what’s going on etc. Could be a dealer or an independent. There are lots of cowboys, independent or not.
