  1. I look at it this way- I buy the grippiest slicks to save me from mistakes.... And before the 'you've got to get loads of heat in em' comments pile in, I do get them warm enough.

  16. If you have a natural passion for a hobby and lots of time to practise it, you will eventually get good at it.

It’s the great Rossi and Biaggi debate from the original Faster documentary. Rossi’s natural talent, core character and understanding of physics meant that his resting heart rate to go fast was super relaxed in comparison to the hobbit. Max would have to focus twice as hard and have a 20-30% higher heart rate to get close to Rossi, let a lone beat him. Plus Max had childhood issues which meant he was always super hard on himself, meaning he didn’t enjoy the moment. It was winning or almost depression of being first loser.

    Very interesting breakdown.

  17. In recent times, Lionel messi vs Christiano Ronalda. No one has more natural talent than messi and no one practicises harder than Ronaldo, even at this stage in his career.

  18. Alex Ferguson said David Beckham wasn't all that talented. But he had an incredible work ethic. He'd stay behind after training and practice free kicks long after everyone else had gone home.
