Just got an email from BT stating they have added Eurosport 1&2 to my VIP TV package. SD on ch 412 and 413, HD on ch 435 and 436. The box should auto-update but I retuned it and got the new channels. That should mean I am fully covered for all my motorcycle race viewing
Ditched BT sport. When I first had it it may have been fee? I do remember paying only £5 per month for it then it just kept going up so, it’s gone. Plus the football pundits and presenters were crap
I've had Eurosport with my BT TV package for years, I switched over to BT TV when MotoGP went to BT sport. And yes, all set for motorbike sport! Anyway, I'd had a letter earlier this year about them offering to change my package / losing some channels and the following phone conversation is where they told me that Eurosport won't be available on BT TV cos Eurosport had been bought by Amazon and only available on Amazon prime. He even sounded surprised that I could still view Eurosport! I didn't change the package, I can still view Eurosport and from original ppost here it seems that it's not being taken off BT. Really don't understand why they'd told me that?
I was like you and had the old BT package with Netflix and Eurosport. However, a complicated house move lead to me having to cancel my BT TV package. I was told I could reactivate it once the move was completed. Anyway, once I recontacted BT after the move all the TV packages had changed. That meant I lost Eurosport for nearly 12 months.
Think it sounds like I'm best just leaving it as is. Especially when its getting close to start of the racing season
I’m with Virgin and I have BT sport for the Moto GP and Eurosport. Not bothered about football but sadly I still have to continue to contribute to their ridiculous wages as I can’t just have bike racing (did consider a subscription to Moto GP directly but I heard the commentary is a bit rubbish?)
