  6. Interested Bettes, just not sure what it does exactly. I have stock pipes until the end can which is an SC Project slip on. Does this just keep the flap valve open in the OEM portion of the pipes? Does it make the bike run better?

  7. Just eliminates the valve servo and the engine management light according to the link in #4. Andy

  8. Hi Andy, Ok, so you need to remove the servo from the exhaust, stick a bolt in the hole and plug this in.

  9. I can only guess that the eliminator plugs straight into the same connector that plugs into the servo motor. No reason to remove the servo motor IMO. Andy

  10. I read the manual. It says in the manual remove the servo, pull the servo cables to the open position and tie off. So that's the valve fixed open. So I'm thinking all this does is switch the dash light off.
Initially I thought this thing/gadget, opens the valves to the fixed position, and switches the dash light off.

  11. Sounds about right. I guess how much you do depends on whether you would return the bike to standard if or when you move it on. If it were me, I’d leave the servo motor in place, disconnect the cable at the valve and wirelock the valve open. Andy

  12. Lets you junk the motor and cables. The valve can be left in place as it is held in the open position by the spring.
