I can't believe it's now 2021 and it's 20 years since "21 Seconds" was released.

 

I only found out the other day that this song was written by Ray Dorset (Mungo Jerry) and was originally intended for Elvis Presley.

 

Fantastic song and I only just realised when watching the video now that there's no drum track and the percussion section is just Ray Dorset alternately slapping his guitar and tapping his foot in time with the banjo player who is also blowing over the mouth of a demijohn(?) home-brew jar! Awesome.
