Ducati Model Range

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by WeeDavey, Mar 16, 2021.

  1. I have been looking to change my 2018 Supersport, owned for nearly 3 years and done many EU tours but Ducati seems to have ignored this segment of mid-price,sporty good looking bikes that can tour in comfort, even the marketing for the new Supersport seems to consist of someone getting his knee down on a track day.
Time to look elsewhere I think.

  2. It’s the same bike as before isn’t it, just better electronics and new plastics, same engine and chassis.

  3. Yeah, modified plastics and TFT screen. Rest of the world has moved on and we don’t all want a £21k ‘Adventure Bike’, if I went that route I’d go KTM, had the 1290 Adventure for a couple of years which was a great bike but either it got bigger or I got smaller, probably the latter is more correct.

  4. Muttly 950?

  5. Muttly 950 ? Same price , same power, heavier and cheaper suspension.

  6. Does it have to be a Ducati?
What are you wanting to do on it? ..sports touring??

  7. Does not have to ba a Ducati, currently also own a Triumph SpeedTriple, Monster 821 and Yam MT07. Sport Touring around the EU is what I do most which the SuperSport is very good at but after 3 years I feel like a change.

  8. I bought one of the new Ninja 1000sx last year for touring duties, it’s a bloody hoot!
Got the Performance Tourer version, it’s got everything, plus I extended the warranty to 4 years, all in for just over £13k, done over 6,000 miles on it now and it’s fast, slick comfy and bulletproof!
