899 Rolling Burnouts And Abs + Rear Pillow Fitting

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by netaviator, Mar 19, 2021.

  1. Hi guys,

I am a local bike hooligan usually on Japanese bikes. Now I got myself a shiny 899 and was wondering if I have can just go for rolling burnouts or do I need to get the ABS out (maybe just change the settings?

Second question would be I have a rear sit which I can't fit for some reason. I bought the bike with a single seat conversion I believe its Chinese aftermarket plastics. Can someone help a fellow biker out please I have attached some pics.

  2. I’d imagine you’d have to turn traction control off as well as abs. What stops the sets fitting, front, back, sides, does it not just clip in but ‘looks’ right?

  3. I will try hopefully my engine won't go up in smoke :) Yes exactly it looks right but doesn't click in but the lock is working

  4. you will probably end up with a con rod though the side of the block :D

  5. any ideas on the backseat?

  6. I have to give mine a firm shove before it clicks. A short, sharp shove.

  7. Tc off and light it up :)

  8. Mine takes a substantial shove to get the seat to engage. I’m on my second pillion cover after the first flew off somewhere near Northampton, I make bloody sure it clicks now
