  2. Fantastic job Olly - she's coming together rather nicely with all the correct parts too. Sweet :)

  3. Cheers mate

  4. All looking great with the finish line getting closer and closer, just noticed on the picture with the fuel filter
that maybe the original fuel pipes may be due a change. If you do make sure you use the correct specification hose as not all are able to withstand being soaked in petrol once sealed inside the tank. Just about to start replacing all of mine with new hose.

  5. Thanks mate. All been done and back ready waiting with new seals

  6. Had a good day of it yesterday,

Cerakote on the engine covers, did another order with moto rapido for some bits I’m not happy with that aren’t original. Rested the tank and air box on for a photo too!

  7. Hey Olly - will pop down this afternoon on mine to take a look at the frame and wheels colour. Very impressed with your rebuild. Will get a few tips off you on stripping the bike down. May look to also get my frame done :) Great job on the engine covers too. Have you had a play with changing the belts yet? Dave.

  12. I see you also have some new bolts etc. It’s a shame if you order them now they are not yellow passivated, just a blank/silver anti corrosion treatment, this is due to environmental issues. You know you could get them original yellow passivated again? Cheers

  13. yeah is a shame, to be honest I’m happy with them just being the right bolts, I want to make it so it’s as right as it can be but not so good I don’t want to use it.

I did re plate some of the bolts myself. I might work back though it once it’s finished then I can just do a couple of bits at a time

  14. Big day yesterday, engine back in the frame, and then today brought it back home to slowly piece it all back together.

Really happy with how it’s coming along. It was certainly a bit sorry for itself the more i took it apart, but seeing the light now!

I wish I had the skills/patience just to take the fecking fairing off, let alone the engine off....

  18. No huge update, but slowly piecing it all back together now, got all the rear tail harness cleaned and re fitted yesterday.

mans had the joy of re fitting the fuel pump in the tank... a stressful hour

hopefully get a few more bits done today after the belts too
