Updates To The V4s Corse

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Lbutt1989, Mar 12, 2021.

  1. Few updates to the V4S Corse

New to ducati , installed the evotech fuel guard, front bobbins , Gilles Rear Sets and Ducabike Rear Wheel Nut.

Next is a new sprocket chain etc and matching ducabike bits , also have a new tail tidy coming along with handlebar mirrors so i can ditch the useless ones.

Never installed anything on a bike until now always had others do it , really enjoyed it despite me being a nervous wreck doing the sets.

Will post more updates as i go.

  7. Thanks..... The wheels are OZ gass’s. I had a spare front from the 959 so just ordered the rear for the V4. Hardly any weight saving so I’d stick with the OE’s and perhaps change the colour up if your looking for a different look. I’ve never been a fan of the crow feet originals. I was lucky enough to get a trade deal with Bike Torque Racing via my line of work. Think RRP is around £2300 post Brexit

  11. More updates today

New mirrors arrived but will need to wait for the bar-ends to arrive

But I have installed the new tail tidy ( New Rage ) and the New Mirror Block off indicators, Both are really bright and have transformed the look of the bike.

Also, love or hate the Ducati cock socks on the reservoirs.

  13. Looks good, are the blanking plate/ indicators from New Rage too?

  14. Yes mate came in the same package was only around 8-10 days from the US.

New lid also comes, having to replace most things as i had to give everything up few years ago due to circumstances pretty excited for getting out.

P.S I noticed I captured the '' Woof Brush Box '' These are not for me :joy: IMG_1845.jpg IMG_1846.jpg

Great lid the X Spirit 3, had one for a year or so now. Best helmet I've owned! ;)

  17. Yep can vouch for the X Spirit 3.... Great lid:upyeah: I’m sure at some point it must be due an update? Only thing i do notice compared to Pista R and X Lite Carbon is it’s slightly heavier. Not by a great deal when it’s on your Noggin. Just when you pick it up. But makes up for it in other areas. Mainly having the best comfort levels, and quieter than the other main brands.

My buddy had the same mirror blank turn signals.... Another great upgrade including the rears..... looking sweet:punch:

  18. Cheers Dave, i very nearly went for the X-Lite but i have had 2 Shoei now and both have been great so decided to stick with what i know.

Still pondering wheels after seeing the pic you posted might have to get some extra jobs in to pay for them !

  19. Small update

Adapters turned up today and managed to get the Mirrors on.
Very happy with them much better than the donkey ears before and better FOV.

Just waiting on a spare mirror turning up as one has a small imperfection but driven sorted it free of charge ... i can't help being anal about things like that :)

Next up is a few rides next big update for this is a new fuel cap ( undecided ) and some OZ Gas wheels in black or titanium ... can't decide.

  20. What is your list of choices for the fuel cap ? From my experience, I cannot recommend the Ducati by Rizoma offering, way too fiddly for my taste and you need a plastic ‘key’ to undo it. Andy
