Hello guys So after selling my s1000rr I wanted something a little different. Mate of mine had a 1098 sat in his garage for the last 10years and had only done just over 2thound miles on it.. So after a couple of months chatting etc I'm now a proud owner of a mint 1098 with only 8k on the clock with 2 owners
Lovely background bike looks fab it could do with bins to finish it off and keep me happy at the same time welcome into our mad house
Welcome. Don't you have a blanket 40mph limit, or something? Is a Ducati wasted there? I assume that there are no dealers in the Channel islands?
France is only a very short ferry ride away - in normal circumstances at least. And the circuit of Le Mans is not very far away at all for those that want to take their bike on track.
Do they do track days at Le Mans? I've been there for both car and bike 24 hour races - a track that I would really like to try! I think that last time that I was in France, I got the ferry back to England from Cherbourg. I have a vague memory that you could go to the CI from the same dock, as well!
Thanks guy's. Yes 40mph limit hence why we go away alot etc and most bikes and cars are all low millage and tend to end up for sale in the uk as low millage. Lol
We got main dealers for almost every make of bike's And about 45min on the boat to st malo and then off you go touring or trackday. And about 3 or so hours to the uk
I know a group of lads that go to Le Mans every year - they book with No Limits Trackdays and take their van(s) to Le Mans. They reckon Le Mans is a good circuit and not as busy as the UK ones. I have been to MotoGP at Le Mans but usually like to get a bit further away as it is only down the road !
Just got back from a little spin and ofcorurse got a couple of cheeky pictures ♂️ The bike rode like a dream shame there was alot of cyclists out and about.
