  1. Going on an off-road course next month to hone the sliding/throttle control skills before the track season starts.

I thought I might finally treat myself to some proper kit, starting with a helmet and goggles.

Any thoughts, recommendations or unwanted new items out there please?

  2. Most of the big brands make good lids dude tbh.

definitely need to try some on!

  3. I have a Hebo open face trials helmet, carbon F/ 850g. For summer riding about in lanes or tracks its brilliant.

  4. I was thinking something full face, for the inevitable moment I go down....hard.

  5. They make a whole range of full face MX too, good gear -at least my open face it.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  6. I always had Bell and Arai’s for Moto cross. But after having a good few years out of bikes. Last year I brought a Oneal Sierra adventure lid. It was pretty fair priced but good. Well no good for on road over 70 but great as an off road lid

  7. Airoh Aviator 2.3 are very light and plenty of ventilation.
They also provide separate vent covers (very good in winter)

  8. Thank you all, will take a look and report back on the outcome.

  9. Recommend the Airoh helmet, found it excellent compared to the Arai when doing enduros. It’s so much lighter.

  10. +1 for the airoh. Properly light and comfortable.

  11. I bought this one in the end, thanks for all the advice.
