Fitted an aftermarket Carbon exhaust heat shield , unfortunately I didn't put thread lock on the 3 securing bolts, been out for first real ride today on the 848, lovely, got back and putting bike away noticed 2 of the fixings have disappeared!!! Shield loosely held on by last finger tight bolt!! Now where can i get replacements?? Need 2 allen screws with shoulder (like fairing ones) 2 top hat washers 4 heat proof (fibre?) Insulating washers Looked on Bay. cant find any, anyone got any or is it Ducati Dealer job??
Thank you, is there a part No. for the washer do you know?? What's the best thread lock to use considering its high temperature application? Bloody thins vibrate don't they!!!!

Well that's a slight consolation its happened to others, ordered up new ones, expensive afternoon!!!! What thread locker is suitable for these fittings considering the heat involved???
I suffered the same kind of thing on the first ever ride on my 848 Evo Corse SE back in the day. The dealer charged me £22 for a fairing bolt that would have cost pennies from a bolt supplier. I soon learned to tighten up all visible bolts on the fairings after every ride.
I was constantly replacing the bolts and washers regardless of threadlock. I was checking before/after every ride which seemed to be the only way to not lose them.
