I apologise that this has nothing to do with Ducati, or even any motorbike. I get ads on this Chromebook and haven''t got around to turning them off. The recurring slogan is "taking the world by storm". Could be mobile phones, watches, socks, etc I am never taken by storm - even when it rains. I guess that either the advertising is crap or the people who write this stuff are unimaginative. Nobody can be taken jn, surely?
In this day and age of social media influencers, YouTube ‘celebrity’ endorsements, internet investments, and on-line dating apps, you are kidding, right ? Andy
on-line dating... Apparently, fit young women are gagging for fat middle-aged men. Well, according to all the dating app adverts that I get. What I do not get is that there are people so thick and stupid that they fall for this garbage, or advertisers are just throwing money down the drain.
Replace "fat" with "rich" and you are about right . However, your intrepid reporter can exclusively reveal that he selflessly endured some 5 or 6 years on and off at the Tinder frontline between 2012 - 2017 ish and found that there is a sweet spot in which minxy millennial women are attracted to middle aged guys because, I was repeatedly told, they're more worldly in comparison to guys of their own age who are often viewed as rather immature "boys". Studies have revealed (another overused term that can be filed alongside "taking the world by storm") that women mature at 31 whereas guys do so at 43. So long as a guy doesn't let himself go and has some confidence and bantz then there's no reason why women won't still find him attractive into his 40s and 50s as many young ladies find the "silver fox" look very attractive. Frankly, I kind of hit the motherlode to such an extent that it all actually became a bit much at times, and, what's more, I was skint during those years so God only knows how a guy with some money would get on. Unlike a certain Mr V Rossi, I decided to retire approx 3 or 4 years ago while I was getting decent results rather than chasing ever diminishing returns, so I don't know what Tindering is like these days, but back then it was absolutely awesome.
