1200 DVT Touratech Comfort Seat For Dvt

  1. I'm thinking of the same thing for mine. I'd end up getting both rider and pillion. The red stitching on my PP would trouble my mild OCD if it didn't match on both!

You know there's only motorcyclists that would put up with a manufacturer offering a 'comfort' seat as an option. You can have the standard seat, i.e. uncomfortable or pay extra for one that doesn't make your arse go numb!

  2. Got the comfort with the printing on the side for my 2016 DVT S Touring.....seat was £396 rrp.....but the dealer threw it with a Navihalter as I paid in full for the bike....I may be able to find the ref number for the seat on my invoice if you want it?...

  3. Think this the one?....seat is amazing I can tell ya!!!

  10. Just got back from a 1600 mile trip to the Picos mountains & back through France.
Good test for the comfort seat and managed to do 2+ hours at a time in the seat without major discomfort. Don't get me wrong was still glad to get off but it was a damn site better than the stock seat. Glad I bought it!

Wasnt too happy when the strap holding it down on the ferry was removed!! Aargh!!! Thought it was fooked! Thankfully it was ok after a couple hours

  11. Has anyone let Fred from AR Pounds at Baldock loose on their seat? Please share your experiences if you have. I'm interested to know if he makes the Multi pillion seat more comfortable. I've never sat on it but it does seem very hard and my wife, who's not one to complain, really suffers when travel long distances. Thanks.

He did mine and it was awesome, almost 400 miles one day and a pleasure to sit in.

Brittany Ferries wrecked it strapping it down and he is rebuilding it again for me.

  13. Any consensus on whether you do indeed sit a bit higher on the Touratech seat? I’m 6’4 and would it would make the cost sting less if I knew i was getting a bit more seat height!

  14. I purchased another seat from the bay of fleas plus a bit of memory foam, removed the cover and put some of the foam where I wanted it, then took it to a local upholstery company who recovered it for me.
Sorted, I am 6’3” and it made the world of difference.

  15. I’m the same height. I reckon you sit around 3/4 of an inch higher. Enough to feel the difference.
The seat is wider too, which helps.
