Hello,I’m thinking of changing chain and sprockets on my 1199s to 15/41for mid range tongue could anyone tell me what size chain length I would need to achieve this please or have I got it right,thanks
You need to add or subtract two chain pins for every two teeth you add or subtract (from tooth total) to your combined sprockets as a general rule of thumb. Two chain pins = 1 complete link. You can't have an odd number in the chain as half links dont exist anymore.
Hoot thanks mate you lost me on add and subtract,it was basically does 15 front and 41 rear give mid range torque rather than top end please
