  2. Looks great, I have the Termi at much more money than that, but would have been happy with that.
Have you got an exhaust valve eliminator ready for the fitment?

  3. Good luck getting the original off. I found the heat shields were a pain.
Had advice from Bob when doing mine.

  4. Yes I am expecting trouble

  5. This is a more standard type of exhaust than the trick Termi or Werks type. But we will see ! I have the exhaust valve thingamabob :upyeah:

  6. Well dead stop. Heatshield bolts one out one rounded off... bugger

  7. I had to drill 3 out then found there was another heat shield underneath held on by an internal jubilee type clip.
I ended up cutting the clip with snips and the shield came out.
I just bought 2 large normal clips from a car accessory shop and fastened them over the top of the first heat shields. Much easier.

  8. Very keen to hear how you find it. I was tempted to buy just the decat and fit MIVV can from 821 (ive got 2 of them).

  9. Hope the fit goes well. Looking at this myself, buying in Oz. Photo on eBay here does not show a pillion foot rest and not sure if my factory panniers will still fit on long tours so waiting on a reply.

  10. Update : I have discovered that the main link pipe into the front cylinder header is missing the retaining loop for the spring. So I cannot fit it. Contacted Delkevic late on Friday and they are shipping me another section for Tuesday morning. I am giving the bike to a friend of mine who has a bike shop locally and he is going to fit it for me during the week as I am at work. I will post any comments he makes and a finished video when its done.

  11. Picked up from the shop today. They said the old exhaust was a bitch to get off. The Delkevic system fitted well though. Heads up : the welds on the pipe are not the prettiest I have ever seen !
I am pleased with the look, not as flash as the other systems, but a 1/3rd of the price and the sound is loud and deep. This video is with baffle out.

  12. I am planning a few weeks touring Europe when allowed and feeling a bit nervous about my non road legal/slightly noisy Termi I currently have fitted. I have toured France with no problems but would be looking this time at multiple countries and I do hear Germany and the Swiss may be troublesome so was looking at a cheap road legal slip-on for the trip. Is the Delkevic road legal ? Did the instructions include any pipe diameters ?

  13. Sounds good, can you get that back wheel cleaned please?

  14. Cannot see any measurements, but copied this straight off the website for the 260mm oval can I have
    • Is this exhaust road legal?
      YES
    • How heavy is the silencer?
      1.45 kg.
    • Does this have a removable baffle?
They use the Delkevic removable baffle system.
    • How loud is this exhaust?
      99dB-101dB static with baffle @ 60% RPM
    • Is the silencer E-marked?
      No

  15. Just had it detailed and Ceramic coated, is this ok ? :)

  16. Did you find out whether the panniers will still fit with this system?

    Cheers.

  17. I had shard panniers fitted and there was loads of clearance

  18. I had Ducati ST2/3/4 hard panniers fitted on mine, but never carried a passenger, she can ride her own bike!

  19. Not sure how the Shard panniers sit against the Ducati ones, but this may gove some idea of clearance with Delkavic. Footpegs were fine.
