  1. What companies are people using , I’ve had some horrendous quotes.?

  2. Cornmarket. Andy

  3. BeMoto for me. £400 for my three.

  4. This of course all depends on the overall value on the bikes, i've tried on two separate occasions now and failed to beat the individual prices, perhaps i'm dong something wrong.

  5. I've just been through this laborious process and to my surprise Bennett's were the cheapest on 3 bikes, unfortunately you have to ring round. I've also rang back the next day to the same company and the price changes. Makes no sense.

  6. I've found MCE are the cheapest, and at the time when I didn't have any garaging space, the only ones who would quote. I haven't had to make a claim but their customer service on other issues, such as when I was stuck in a fvckery vortex with them for several months due to changing my debit card number resulting in multiple missed payments and repeated cancellation notices, doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

There is also a bike limit (4) on the policy which is a pain as I have 5 of the buggers.

  7. LV, 3 bikes. KTM 990, Ducati 848, Triumph Speedmaster Bonny 1200. Around £360 as of a few weeks ago, not bad I thought. However, I am an existing customer with car, house and motorhome so I think I got a wee sweetener off them.

  8. Bikesure:
3 bikes suzuki dl, honda sp1 and 1098 for just under £400. Devitt quoted £1200. Crazy quotes sometimes

  9. as above ^ Bikesure and very happy with them, past 3 years or more now.

  10. Already with bemoto paying circa £280 fully comp protected for my 1299 Anniversario , they wanted £350 to add a tuono v4 factory 2020 model on a 21plate . Full no claims 30 years plus license which I thought was taking the piss

  11. You want to try and insure a Panigale V4 Speciale, a 1098R and a 748R for agreed values and add a 1200 Multistrada on top. I’ve had a full licence for 50 years, no claims and I’m an IAM RS Observer. Andy

  12. It’s the underwriters make the rules. All brokers have their own list of underwriters they use and if you are repeat business with that underwriter you may get a decent quote, if you are ‘new business’ the same underwriter may even refuse to quote for exactly the same set of criteria. Comparing quotes is meaningless unless you state your age and postcode..

  13. I have others ie 2 x 749r 999r Senna 750 / 1000 but these are on a laid up policy so I know the difficulties involved . I just wanted a multibike road policy

  14. You know my pain then :joy: Andy

  15. I used to be with them, in my experience they are very cheap but try and modify the policy in any way or try and make use of their breakdown cover and you’re in for a world of pain.

  16. Bemoto here

  17. Bemoto now devitt bikesure even refused to insure multi v4s
Used to have cia but they seem to make rules up one even said if u cant park a car its not a garage

  18. Bikewise came to my rescue on a multi bike policy. Total nonsense from most others. I wanted to insure a second bike, my first port of call was my current insurer. They said they didn’t like the garage location as it’s 100m away from the house. I said how can that be as you currently have my motley insured there!!

  19. Thread moved and BeMoto seems to know what they are doing :)
