  1. Don't miss the second part. Leaving aside the jokes the points he makes are relevant imo.

  2. Well I haven't watched the programs but thanks for the links.

However, check the UN stats. I am certain you will find the most dangerous cities in South America are located in Honduras (San Pedro Sula and Choloma), Mexico (Veracruz, Acapulco, Nuevo Laredo, Torreón), Belize City, Belize, Brazil (Ananindeua and Maceió) and Colombia (Palmira).

Cancun has had an increase in violence. On Cancun's worst day, it is like a Sunday school outing compared with San Pedro Sula, Honduras - a place I have unfortunately visited a few times... Until a few years ago, I was living quite near Cancun and have spent 18 years or so in the S. American continent so I'm not an expert, but I do know it fairly well.

Here's alink to a Guardian article that says it all

  3. On the programme they show on the hotels private beach where two men walked through the hotel, straight onto the private beach and kill a man on a sunbed as well as a taxi driver killed just outside a hotel. Worth a watch as most of the tourist industry is hiding what is going on.

  4. no chance of change, even if they had a mass shooting every day they would still point the finger elsewhere and keep gun laws as they are.......

  5. Odd because there are no private beaches in Yucatan... All beaches are public, and belong to the state.

There is definitely drug cartel violence in the area - I saw it myself first hand. The coke trade is what almost of the violence stems from and virtually everyone involved in the violence including the victims are involved in the trafficking.

  6. Hang on a minute, are you murican?

  7. Born there but my family is basically English. Lived in the US for eleven years in total and have murican friends.

  8. My wife has family in Venezuela and and a cussing was shoot dead to steal his pickup in a read light, at big parts of America have just imposible to live a normal life!
You can’t let out your kids playing at the street any longer and make a normal life.
I’m not religious but you can say that the bad side is winning at the moment!

  9. To be fair to the states, I'm pretty sure every country has its no go zones.

  10. Have you read about Ghost Guns? Buy an 80% completed receiver and build your own gun. No records exist of it.

There was a guy from Leeds who wrote books on how to build a Mach 10 machine gun and an SMG

  11. The american constitution is fairly unabigious about guns & citizens rights. If I collect the parts sold for my laptop...I get a new laptop woah omg forbid repairing..

They might wish to outlaw replacement parts, which the military industry would not only smile about. But advocate for so they can continue making vast sum's on the backs of the tax-payer.

It's like the argument about tools, if you have the right tools. You can steal parts of vehicles or dissemble equipment for theft! Make things undooable.
