sorry to be cheeky but I am in process of repairing my lift... this is a Clarke CML1 like mine, (at least from the same factory)... it has the same ram. Have you ever had it lower realy fast? Mine does that ...and I was wondering if you ever adjusted the left hand screw (labelled faster/slower)? Is this why mine drops fast? I never knew that this was OK to adjust as I thought these screws should not be adjusted as their function is to protect the lift from being overloaded.... Any thoughts gratefully accepted...
