I’m selling my reg number as I only have the track bike now. V2 DUP - I think it’s a pretty good one for the V2 Ducati Panigale and as a bonus the actual physical plate is a fair bit smaller than standard but still legal. £750 Currently on retention.
Thanks Mate. I was never one for private plates but this one made me smile to have on the bike and drew smiles from others rather than derision. The 5 digits thing was a big draw as well as it allows the plate to measure about 16.5cm x 17.5cm while still being legal - no small sized lettering or squeezed spacing to attract the attention of the police!
Yeah I totally get it..... I recently sold a 5 digit that I’ve owned for the last 22 years! It never went on a bike, just had it on several cars from the past. Think it was just a phase as it was on retention for the last 8 years. I sold mine via a company and got a clear £2,200, Not bad considering I paid £480..... The only other one i had was on the 999R .... R999 SBK but sadly let it go with the bike.... what a fool!! Shop around and get some quotes. Might be worth a punt...
Are DUPs quite popular then? Maybe I should forget about getting another Ducati and look around for a"DUP" coz I know that I could get a matching number plate.
