  2. So I thought I’d treat myself to a new mtb to at least give me a chance of keeping up with my lad at Hamsterley. It’s a 2019 Vitus Escarpe VTS and a lovely thing the suspension is amazing !

    Test ride went ok ( it’s a large he’s 5-1” )

  7. Was out yesterday, good riding, 27 miles of good dry trails...
    IMG_20210501_145511.jpg

Today was different, cold, mostly dry but a biblical hail storm from hell made me think winter was back.... Still got 33 miles in, mostly good trails apart from the hail storm

  11. Become a regular route - old railway line to Marlborough.
    35 miles all in.
    Much prefer gravelling to road.

  12. I'm fortunate enough to live close to the Ridgeway as well, somewhere I'll be exploring a bit more this summer.

  13. Looks fab, is this the Marlborough to Chiselton railway track? Is it all off road? Looks like one for the list, did the towpath from Bradford on Avon to Bath recently , that’s a nice one too!

  14. That's the one.
Very short section, (maybe a mile) is on tarmac. I go door-to-door, however, there is free parking at the Chiseldon end, at the farm shop.

  15. Lovely evening for it. Tuesday 20

  17. Not every ride gets a pic. I do about 100 mile a week on MTBs but not pics for all. Got out yesterday evening on a tough, hilly 15 miler....
