Whose Doing Which Ducati Day 2021?

Discussion in 'Trackdays & Rider Skills' started by dukeman358, May 6, 2021.

  1. So I’m still debating whether to do all three Ducati days. Booked on Donny 20th as it’s a ‘noisy’ day despite my standard cans. Brands should be fine as it’s MSV but not sure about silverstone as the noise limits are fairly new. Always had no problems there for the Ducati days in the past despite noisy cans. Whose doing which days and on what bike?

  2. Probs doing Brands on 749R.

  7. Despite the restrictions stated on their web site at the time the days were first muted, Silverstone have now set the limits for the Ducati day at 108db static and 105db drive by. Not sure if Ducati pressed the point and got it changed from 105/102. IMO, a Panigale V4 with full Akrapovic will need the v2 baffles fitted. Andy

  14. Do you guys all have wets? (I do but not too keen on wheel changing and the wiping off in the evenings lol).

Panigale 1299 with Akra perfectly fine on a normal silverstone day btw (105db)

  15. If they are strict at 105 I can see lots not getting out without baffling. And lots of it!!

  18. I’ve got wets and at the moment it looks like a wheel change at lunchtime. Quite like using them tbh. ;)

  19. Just take it nice and steady and you’ll be fine and enjoy the day

  20. Certainly try to but the weather doesn't look good.
I'll probably just sit and watch if it's peeing it down as there's no way i'm chucking my new bike down the track.
When I did my Ron Haslam day the rain was biblical which led to a fair few arse clenching moments.
