I applied for my historic registration and road tax exemption about seven weeks ago. Haven't received anything yet and they are still charging me the road tax...

  7. I'd mine online a few hours earlier as i'd it alongside the other note from the DVLA today......you need to tax it but don't pay any money.:laughing:

  8. Installed a new consumer unit for a buddy in WSM , glad I no longer do installations for a living , lower back in agony and my hands kept cramping .

  9. I expect to get a refund. But...

  10. Took our old bed to the tip, had a new one delivered so had to build it, also looks like the diff is leaking on the stag so I’ve ordered some new seals and gaskets in the hope of sorting it

  11. Ah........:astonished:

  12. .....it's like waiting for a sunny day with some folk in life, the DVLA is a bit like the M25, when it works it's fantastic but when it's Not...:poop:

  14. Just spent the past couple of hours, before the rain started, doing/reshaping the borders at the bottom of the garden so SWMBO can plant more plants that’s she bought yesterday. We’ve now spent close on £400 on plants/garden stuff this past week :bucktooth: And she has the cheek to complain that I’ve ordered a new bike

Anyway shower time, then MotoGP, followed by more Sopranos :upyeah:

  15. Quick run out to try the new toys. Slipper clutch is feather-light compared to the standard one - if I'd known the difference was so extreme, I would have changed it years ago! The Nitron shock makes the ride feel way more planted, so with new pads, belts and oil. the bike feels like new.

I haven't ridden it for more than 18months, so the noise and the power were a welcome reminder of why I will never sell this bike. Just got back in time to avoid the rain.

Cup of tea and then the plants are due some crack to make certain the flowers all appear right on time next month.
