1260 Ducati Multistrada 1260 V4 !! 190hp

  1. Can't see there being much weight difference if any. The single side swingarm will be heavier.

  2. True, but if it’s Iron Age Ohlins then that’s lighter than auto sussers. So all things considered probably about a kilo different

  3. That’s a very single sided looking swingarm on that bike. I’m starting to have high hopes for this one.

  4. Hear we go...

    Handling : Check
    Looks : TBD
    Power bump : TBD

Get all three and you can take my money :)

PS - A slightly bigger tank wouldn't go a miss.

  5. That smaller front wheel must be lighter ;)

  6. Still looks like a Chinese copy of a Ducati

  7. I think your guess is too low so I’ll raise you £2k. Andy

  8. I’m keeping an open mind that it’ll look a lot better. I saw a V4 the other day, got along side it in the car for a while and was really underwhelmed by the looks.

  9. Most new models take a while to creep into your brain, to become accetable takes time.
I have to say it looks heavy, whether it rides well is to be seen, they don't always get it right.

  10. It does ride very well.

  11. When you ride it you don't have to look at it

  12. That rear single sided swing arm must be heavier...

  13. Is it Pikes Peak ?

  14. I don't think its ugly. Its quite purposeful in its looks but if buyers want 'pretty' they should be buying a Panigale or a 916.

  15. I really hope they change the name this time. It has no connection with Pikes Peak nor will it ever have.

The Streetfighter had become the PP bike anyway.

  16. Is it ? It never featured there

I like pikes peak name. It gives unique character to an otherwise a GS copy-paste.

  17. It kind of did , didn’t complete the race because the rider was killed .

  18. Oh right, sorry completely forgot about it.

Killed is a bit of harsh word. More like high sided on a bump reported many times to local authorities that hasn't done a jack shit about it in 10 years

  19. It’s not so much well yes it is but the damm insurance costs which is ridiculous for townies eg London even if my dog is tied to the bike bike trac ground anchors it’s crazy
    V4 pikes peak 23k

  20. Why should I have to buy a sports bike for it to look pretty ?
I have a Panigale but they arent exactly designed for 2 up touring with full luggage...
Thats why I have a Multistrada too.
I want the bike to ride well and look good too, and currently I'm not enamoured by the looks of the V4 compared to the DVT, or even the Enduro.
