Why? I'm not disagreeing (I haven't ridden one of those Triumphs so I don't know) but I'd be interested to know why you think that...
Very unique, also me likes the orange paintwork for some odd reason, perhaps a conversation piece at the right biking venues.
Yes Jez he got lucky and found an X75 replica body kit at an auto jumble for £50 (They cost £1300 new), anyway he took it from there, if you enlarge the photo you see its called an X57, that’s because he was 57 when he finished it, a really superb build, the radiator and fan are now under the seat and very neatly done, the only drawback is range, the ally tank beneath the body work only gives a 60 mile range, still it’s not a tourer is it, wish he’d sell it to me but he won’t!.
Not sure that is true. I found the Triumph Street Twin more engaging than the Scrambler. I really wanted to like the Desert Sled but found it quite bland.
It’s sold, so no more Scrambling, had it 5 years and enjoyed it but it was time for it to go, still got my other Dukes though! Ive just put the Italia Independent leather seat that I had on it on eBay if anyone is looking for one, and the Scorpion Serket slip on.
