Not sure what stack hight should I be looking at? Also someone mentioned dished plates but I cant see any?
are you not reading what im writing.........dont think of a stack height as all the plates out and measure it.......if your first measurement of 5mm was correct then you need to do as above change two plates to get it down to 4mm.....leave the spring plate in the stack as it was if thats the only one you have........ if you were close enough to me i would bring two plates over and rebuild it for you ...... or your welcome to come and collect a couple of plates....
it wont matter if you havnt got any spring plates though i would put at least one in realistically two.......at some point. if you can fit the two thicker steels and get 4mm on that reading then i bet thatll sort it!

That's 37mm if my addition is correct, and that's the right plate stack , measure yours and start from there. And no Andy I'm not going to mention removing the dished , my slipper is a different make (DP) and this works for me.
