Quick Shifter Issue After Sprocket Change On 1299s

  1. Hello all

I had a 41T rear sprocket fitted to my 2016 Panigale S as well as a new stock front sprocket, now the Quickshifter is not working (showing an engine fault). The workshop ran diagnostics and cleared the fault, and the Quikcshifter worked up and down for about 200 meters before the fault came back.

Have any of you had this experience, any thoughts as to possible causes?

  2. I've just changed sprockets on my multi 1260 . Mines not working either. Did you manage to sort what the problem was ?

  3. Yes, but I had all sorts of issues with my v2 blipper before even changing sprockets :joy:. Quite a lot of people have said after changing the sprockets, you need to recalibrate (not done it yet). I really despise the Ducati Quick Shifter. To the point I'd consider getting rid of the bike if everything I try fails and I've already tried a lot.

  4. Yeah just read another thread about recalibration. I'm going to try it tomorrow.

  5. It turned out the QS is busted which was showing the engine light, so I fitted a Rapid Bike QS, I have the Rapid Bike Race system on the bike already. The QS is now bypassed and deactivated as it runs through the Rapid Bike system, but I can't get rid of the engine light. Any suggestions?
