The DDA piece is the red USB part and the GPS unit is the black square box that fits in the nosecone.
Thanks but no good without the GPS unit I will check if the GPS is still available as the DDA isn’t but it comes as a kit
Just out of curiosity, do you actually need to plug it in and look at all the details or just want it to automatically time laps rather than manually do it? Not sure if it is different on the 1199 etc compared the one one sold for V4/V2/SFV4, but you only need the GPS for auto start/stop lap timing. Apologies if you already know or it is indeed different on the other bikes
GPS module seems to available https://www.kfm-motorraeder.de/cms/en/genuine-spare-parts/ducati-spare-parts?itemid=38510142C
You need the GPS to relay the circuit map to the data recording and auto stop the start finish I had a DDA for my 1299 then my V4S Ideally I want to overlay maps and the only way they can be accurate is with the info from the GPS too I currently have a 20 V4 and the 1199 so want to compare laps on both I realise the V4 version has more parameters but I am told you can
You can but its a bit of a nightmare, especially if you run a Mac, my advice, buy a standalone lap timer / data collection unit, get 2 harnesses and use it across both bikes, that way you'll get truly comparative data and when you ae done with that, you'll get a good chunk of your money back as they are always in demand 2nd hand. The DDA / 1199 tech is ancient, I didn't bother with the DDA, just have the GPS. @Monners and @andyb have both used 3rd party units so worth seeing hwat they say.
