A while ago I fitted 1199 led indicators to my 899, one went pop a couple of years ago, now the other side has gone … I thought these things were supposed to have longer life than normal bulbs ?? On the lead it has a manufacturing test date in 2012, so they were about 9 years old, fair do’s…but my old BMW is 21 years old and I can’t ever remember changing an indicator bulb on it? Ordered a new LED indicator from M&S in Newcastle, about a week to get it and £35 quid, fitted it this afternoon a little bit of a chew on as you have to partly dissemble the Evotech tail tidy to feed the lead back through etc, ..you can buy an awful lot of bulbs for £35 quid,…still, I suppose that’s progress for you
