  1. Must have been some journey if you went back in time to see Bert. Was a Delorian involved?

  2. Went out on the Superduke 1290 earlier this morning before heading back to London.

Did a wheelie but hit a false neutral between 3rd and 4th, smashing a testicle into the tank and sounding like Pavarotti for a good 2 seconds.....

Hardest wheelie I’ve ever landed in 15 years. Sorry fork seals.

  5. Filled a Jerry can of new fuel for 916. Cleaned and silicon sealed some minor cracks on air box. Test fire tonight to see if I put belts on correctly. I’ve spun engine and I can’t hear or feel anything hitting. I’ve done loads of cam chains on Suzuki’s but my 1st cam belt makes me nervous.

  10. Just been to the physiotherapist for assessment. Need to recover muscle mass in the quads, hamstring and glutes to support the ACL in my left knee. Hobbling a bit after being pushed and pulled about so treating myself to coffee, bacon and brie panini and a brownie before heading home. Andy

Came down to see lots of water in the kitchen, not flooded but easily enough to trip over on. I was convinced it was the washing machine finally crying enough but the experienced plumbers among you will be all too familiar with this, and probably way ahead of me. Pulled out the machine and began to strip out the bottom but as I rearranged the water feed pipes I could hear hissing more like gas leaking and (luckily) the sound got louder because I flexed the pipe a little more and then of course the source was obvious.

  17. 20210907_075420[1].jpg Working for a living yesterday and today removing a clients hedge and other stuff ready for a excavator for clearing thirty odd years of muck that's built up in the stream over the years, the water authorities should face their responsibility for this area but just don't bother these days in the Uk.
