I've had my V4s for several weeks now and love it. It had to go back to have the LED running lights fitted as they weren't available at the time of delivery. I have the bike back but am totally unable to turn these new lights on! Anyone have any idea how to make them work? Or is it back to the dealer (again!).
I assume that the switch on the handlebar is doing nothing? If it's the same as the previous model the auxiliary spot lights are canbus operated and need enabling in the firmware by the dealer. Can't imagine why they wouldn't do that unless they just plain forgot...
RH bar light switch, the lower one. Hold for a few seconds and they should turn on. To turn off same again hold for a few seconds and they will turn off. This assumes that the dealer has fitted and enabled them!!!! Cant believe that the dealer didn't explain the process - mine did. PS - should show on the dash at the bottom of the screen as a fog light symbol when they are on.
