  3. Yes mate lap 3 of day one! The Suzuki was great to ride although I was only just getting used to it as it only had 120 track miles on the clock when I got there.
It is not as easy to ride as the Aprilia but I ended up a second faster than my mates, who have been there before, and that's the important part. :D

  4. Aragon yesterday. Just love that Marquez curve (T11), but only at half his pace

  6. Thank you. Some great coaching by HPC has enabled me to dramatically improve lap times with way more stability and sort of look good at the same time.

  8. 2nd track day at Brands on the 959, loving the bike and becoming more comfortable with it every session, still a few seconds off the lap times I was seeing on my S1000R.

I've had the stock suspension setup by Paul at Racelab, but really needs the shock/springs changing as I'm 120kg with gear, currently using the s22's that came on the bike and missing the Supercorsa's.

Video is from a mate following me on his R1, I'm not carrying enough corner speed and it looks to me like I'm not getting the bike over enough, need to tuck my knee (not easy when you're 6'5"), any constructive advice much appreciated!!

  9. Vid is too short to really make any judgement. Always good when someone has video of you as you can see a lot more of your riding as opposed to a go pro on your own bike though. Prob use more of the track would be my observation. More lean isn't a priority in my opinion unless you nail everything else. Sure some others can chip in. Few racers/ex racers on here better qualified.

Your enjoying it, that's the main thing

  10. Definitely enjoying it, gutted its the last one of the year! Mate on the R1 is a bit quicker than me, was only behind for a couple of laps sadly

  11. I feel your pain. Lucky we had a good few weeks weather. I'm itching to get back out. My last one was a few weeks back now although I did my ACU Monday, that doesn't count though.

  12. I would simply try and make a better head position in the turns. If you draw a line at right angles to the rear axel through the middle of rear tyre, your head should be to the right on a right hander and vice-versa. It will make the bike feel more stable at lean and give your eyes a better view point further up the track which in turn will make you get on the gas earlier.
This vid is me learning how to do it. Warning: No apexes were harmed in the making of this video o_O:rolleyes:

  13. Anyone off to Jerez (redline) and/or Cartagena (NL) next week?

  14. I'm going to jerez,

  16. A few pics rom the last 3 days at Estoril, great fun and another awesome trip with mates and run bu No Limits, c50 bikes in attendance including some interloping locals, 2 groups and 30 minute sessions, average temperature was 25 degrees, one very light sprinkling of rain, and by light I mean although visors were showing it the circuit remained bone dry, so no break in riding, 4 red flags over all 3 days so all in all just what was needed, one pic is a video still from a minor excursion lol.
