748 748r Suspension Query

hello guys, yes that is my old 748r on ebay, it was concourse condition when i built it, so much i didnt ride it much, its proper quick and was the best handling bike ive ever had.

 

A original 996r fairing panel with original paint! I’ve no idea about the 748r as I’ve never owned one!

 

Question; why do you've only one panel.?

 

i don’t, I could only be arced to take one out of the box’s and I rarely put them on the bike because I don’t like the idea of some thieving fucker walking of with 2 1200 quid panels

 

They're probably worth more than that price quoted.

 

Careful when you take the pink one out, looks like someone has tampered with the brakes !!

 

ducati still have new old stock fairings for the 996.

it was 1200 ish for the left side around 1000 for the right (no idea why)and the belly I didn’t ask about!
The sides and the belly are the ones that take 30 seconds to chore

 

the 996R fairing in carbon goes with a carbon belly pan... the 748R didn't have the belly pan or carbon fairings..

I cut my belly pan to fit my 1198 exhaust system, I will take a picture of my unskilled, unfinished work ASAP
i love how the exhaust pokes through the belly but it could do with a blister to seal it completely.

 

Nothing like manufacturers & the dealer network markups for keeping us on our toes.
